Painting again, and Studio Clearance

Wow, almost a year since my last post here, and the end of the 100 heads challenge, during which I was solely working on my drawing skills. Almost immediately after that, I started painting again, and it’s been nice getting to grips with colour again.

Here are a few of my oil painting studies from the last year, including portrait studies of Kim Jung Gi and Aleah Chapin:

I also did a new self portrait, featuring our dog, Luna:

Studio Clearance Sale

I’m in the process of clearing out my attic studio, and I’ve got a ton of various paintings and studies lying around that I’m keen to get rid of. I’ll be listing these for sale on my site soon, but in the meantime, if you see anything you like either here or on my Instagram page, you can send me an email, or DM me on Instagram to discuss, and I can put it aside for you until it’s ready to sell.

Now, on to the next painting!

I’m making pretty slow progress, but I have drafted a few lessons, and started to plan a few videos.

I’ve also recorded one video, and thought it might be useful to share it here first and get some feedback. Continue reading
